William's Story God first entered Williams' life at a young age. He ran from the presence of the Lord, but God later followed him into a Blue Oyster Cult rock concert at the Fox Theater in Soon he began a deep spiral into drug addiction that included a run in with the Jacksonville SWAT Team in 1979. The SWAT Team won. Several years later William ended up living like an animal in the woods. He was drinking anything with alcohol in it and carrying a syringe around in his sock. During a three month stay in jail, he was issued a divorce decree and lost custody of his children.
He then found himself in the This was the third time Jesus Christ had come for William. Jesus was saying -- I want you! No matter how low you get, He loves you! That night in 1988, kneeling by his bed in the hospital, he rededicated his life to God. You can do the same right now. You may never have drunk a beer or taken a pill, but Isaiah 53:6 says, "ALL we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord laid on Jesus the sins of us all.
God led William to a church where he met his wife Elizabeth. Together they have served in ministry over the last 19 years, three of which they pastored and pioneered a church. For years William felt a call to travel. In 1999 he started going places. Some times they ask him to come back when he can't stay as long. He has several CD’s available and a book of his life before Christ , “A Far Country” . Thanks to web stations, Whitedoveradio, Christianblues.net and the Nitelight, his music has listeners in over 200 countries. It can also be heard on radio stations in Canada, Africa, Austraila, Europe, Japan and the United States. His newest Cd is produced by the Christian Motorcyclist Association and he has traveled extensively with Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship Ministries to prisons across America. William loves Christians, bikers, inmates & homeless people. Or homeless bikers and Christian inmates with homes but don’t have bikes. It doesn’t matter because when he did not have a bike he rode around in the rain with his head poked out the car window. He was in a revival one night and stood up and said "We are going to run the devil out of here!" Two preachers got up and left. But that's OK because William is not scared of the devil. He was married to his sister for about a year. Posters, quotes & sound bytes can be downloaded to promote your event:
